The North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) is the largest continental sporting and cultural gathering of Indigenous people from across North America. The 2017 NAIG held in Toronto attracted more than 5,000 participants, 2,000 volunteers and countless spectators to venues across the GTA, Hamilton and Six Nations of the Grand River.
We were honoured to design the logo and develop all branding for the Games: from merchandise and banners to athlete medals and large format, outdoor billboards. It was an absolute thrill to see our work on display across the city – and it certainly made long commutes on the Gardiner Expressway all the more bearable!
The 2017 NAIG was a terrific, uplifting event to be a part of and we certainly hope to continue our involvement in some capacity in future games (as athletes’ parents perhaps? – No pressure kids!)
